Overview We aim to introduce the best values as well as spirit that we have been being proud of World Heritages in Vietnam, it will take you to soak in the beauty of People – Culture – Landscape and authentic Culinary. The route encompasses some of UNESCO-designated World Heritage Sites: the sixteenth century silk route trading port of Hoi An; My Son Valley, the sacred remains of the ancient Cham civilization and the ancient imperial city of Hue, Phong Nha cave mystery.

On arrival at Đà Nẵng airport, Asia Lotus Tours representative will greet and transfer you to your hotel for check-in. Lunch at local restaurant Have an afternoon city tour, including visits to the Museum of Chăm Sculpture (closed on Monday) with the World's finest collection of some 300 Chăm sculpture exhibits dating from the 7th to the 15th centuries, the Linh Ứng Pagoda, the Marble Mountains (or Ngũ Hành Sơn) of the five sacred elements (metal, wood, water, fire and soil) with numerous caves and Buddhist shrines and the stone- carving village of Non Nước. Stay overnight in Đà Nẵng.

After breakfast, enjoy a whole day to explore two World Cultural Heritage sites recognized by UNESCO in 1999. Depart a scenic drive of 70 km for Mỹ Sơn Sanctuary, located in a lush green valley, where the architectural treasures and sculptures of Chăm culture dating from the 7th to the 13th century can be discovered. Then take another transfer of 55 km to Hội An ancient town. Check in hotel and rest until  enjoy a walking tour in the old town. Explore the three characters culture of Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese, visit "Phùng Hưng" house - 200 years old and the Japanese Covered Bridge -  "bridge for passers-by from afar". End the day with a visit the workshop of a traditional lantern maker, meet the artisans and try your skills as you create your own lantern to take home. Overnight in Hội An.

Today is free at leisure. You can also hire a bicycle to see the countryside of Hội An, soak up the sun at the beautiful Cửa Đại Beach or Bà Nà Hill theme park. Some optional excursion for you: Please contact us if you interest:

Overnight in Hội An.

Check out early in morning and transfer to Huế (Old Imperal), enjoy a full day tour of Huế, a former Imperial city of Vietnam ruled by 13 Nguyễn dynasties, take a short walk along the Perfume river (Hương). Visit the Imperial Citadel - UNESCO World Heritage site, Flag Tower, Noon Gate, Nine Dynastic Ums, Nine Holy Cannons, Thái Hòa Palace and the Forbidden Citadel built by the Nguyễn emperors in the early 19th century. Enjoin Vietnamese court music (Royal Music) - Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity if luckily. Check in hotel nearby and lunch by yourself. 

Continue on cruise this afternoon, you will visit the Minh Mạng Royal tomb, Hòn Chén sanctuary and Thiên Mụ Pagoda - an iconic seven-story pagoda considered the unofficial symbol of the city. Lastly, cruise downstream to watch sunset on the Perfume River. If time permit, take a walk through Đông Ba Market, where you can find anything from fabric and gold to fake watches, fresh flowers and street food. Stay overnight in Huế.

Drive for Quảng Trị town where you can see some war remnants and the original ramparts and gates of former Quảng Trị Citadel. Stop en route to visit the 500-year-old village of Phước Tịch, recognized a national cultural heritage and once famous and prosperous because of its pottery, which has dozens of homes that are from 100 to 200 years old and several old temples, pagodas, worship halls and communal houses. Transfer northward to Bến Hải River, formerly known as a temporary demamtion line between the North and the South of Vietnam. Then proceed to Vĩnh Mốc tunnels with the amazinng 2.8 km of underground tunnels, dug to accommodate an underground village safe from Amencan air raids in the north of the DMZ. Continue driving through the sites of the former fierce battle fields of Đồng Hà, Đốc Miếu and Vinh Linh before arriving Đồng Hới. Stay overnight in Đồng Hới.

Before leaveving for Phong Nha, wander about the Nhật Lệ Fish Market, with sellers and buyers inmriably wearing  the ubiquitous conical hat. Transfer to the Xuân Sơn river wharf (45km) and take a boat trip on the Son River to spectacular Phong Nha Cave, formed about 250 million years ago and recognized as World Natural Heritage site. Climb about 400 steps to splendid Tiên Sơn Cave (1 km), the most magnificent limestone cave in Vietnam and just opened in 2000. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Stay overnight in Đồng Hới.

Breakfast at hotel and relax for shopping until transfer to Đồng Hới airport to catch a flight to Hồ Chí Minh City or Hà Nội for your connecting flight back your home.

Travel Visa

Most countries in South East Asia require you to obtain a visa. Please check carefully with your travel specialist regarding specific visa requirements for each country you plan to visit as the legislation does change frequently. Thailand offers a free visa on arrival to most nationalities. Other countries including Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar offer a “visa-on-arrival” service which requires you to pay a fee at the airport, or you may prefer to obtain this in advance through the relevant embassy or a visa agent. For visa-on-arrival in Vietnam, you must submit some paperwork before you arrive.

This is an option to get your visa for Vietnam instead of getting visa at the Vietnam consulate in your country.

Step 1: Provide us your application details

Step 2: Process your visa information into a visa application 
We will contact you for reviewing your visa information and then submit your application on your behalf to Vietnam Immigration department and follow other procedures pursuant to the regulations of Immigration department to get Visa approval letter granted by Immigration department.

 

Step 3:Send the visa approval letter via email to you after 2 working days 
After we obtain the visa approval letter from the Immigration department for you, we will forward you a scanned copy of it by email (Your visa information then have been recorded to the Visa system of the Vietnam Immigration department).

 

Step 4: Get your visa stamp on your arrival 
Just print the approval letter out, prepare 2 passport sized photos and an amount of USD for stamping fee ($45 for single entry visa; $65 for 1 month multiple entry visa and $95 for 3 multiple entry visa). Put all above mentioned things along with your passport in a package, then show them to Immigration officer at Vietnam arrival airports.

Upon arrival at Vietnam’s airport, expect a simple form to fill in (or you can download here to fill beforehand), present the visa approval letter, passport, photos to the Immigration officer inside the counter and look for a place to hear your name be called to get the passport back and pay for the stamping fee. The actual process takes around 15 minutes without hassle or trouble.

 

What are the differences between this process and getting visa at Vietnam embassies?
It is only applicable for those who travel to Vietnam by air. You only need fill out the visa application form online instead of visiting the Vietnam embassies or sending documents to Embassies over by post.The online visa application does not require sending your passport away.You get a visa approval letter issued by Vietnam Immigration Department indicating that you are allowed to enter Vietnam and have your visa stamped upon arrival at one of Vietnam international airports.
