Welcome to Vietnam. Upon arrival at HCMC Airport, obtain your Vietnam visa (with pre-approval  letter) and then clear Immigration and Customs. After collecting your baggage, exit the airport to meet outside a local Guide of Asia Lotus Tours. From the airport, you will be privately transferred to your lovely hotel. Settle in and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Evening enjoy welcome dinner on Saigon river cruise. Overnight in Sài Gòn.

Enjoy a full day exploring the city. First at at Notre Dame Cathedral (outside visit only due to its renovation) , City Hall, Opera House and Saigon Post Office - the best highlights of classical French colonial architecture. Nearby the Reunification Palace, witness of the historic events of old Saigon and famous for its architectural characteristics. Then, discover the very popular War Remnants Museum, the one that gathers a comprehensive collection of the machinery, weapons, photographs and documentation of the Vietnam wars. Stop by the Jade Emperor Pagoda, built in 1909 in honor of the supreme Taoist god, one of the most spectacularly colorful temples. Lunch at local restaurant and continute for tour afternoon.

In the afternoon, visit the famous Củ Chi Tunnels which consist of an incredible underground network of tunnels constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during both the French and American wars. Discover secret trapdoors, field hospitals, command posts, underground kitchens, living areas and meeting rooms, challenge yourself to discover tunnels it’s just fit your body, experience firing the AK 47, M16 - the typical weapons of the two major resistance (option). Tour ends at Bến Thành Market – the colorful market with plenty of goods and souvenir or drive back to your hotel. Overnight in SaiGon.

Pick up at your hotel in Hồ Chí Minh city, drive to Cái Bè in the heart of the Mekong Delta, you’ll board a motorized boat that takes you to the floating market and spend time there for an interaction that you’ll see no where else in the world. Then on foot to reach a coconut candy, a crispy rice cake factories (served free with premium hot tea), riding bicycle around local village to Út Kiệt ancient house for lunch. After lunch, get on small row sampan, zigzag thourgh a maze of shadow canals to enjoy the fresh air along the canal and beautiful water coconut tree scenery. The next stop is Vinh Long City from Island by boat, we will land on a marketplace and walk around to see how and what the poor rural people of Vietnam sell in City, encouraged to interact with the vendors and see how friendly and respectful they are then on our coach transfer to Cần Thơ city. Check-in hotel, free explore on your own. Overnight in Cần Thơ.

Breakfast at hotel, transfer to Ninh Kiều wharf for a boat trip to visit Cái Răng floating market - one of ten most impressive markets in the world by The UK’s Rough Guide. There you can discover typical daily life of local people who are selling, buying, bargaining and serving breakfast and soft drinks on boats. On the way back, you will stop over farmer's house, visiting an orchard followed by a 30-minute break for drinking tea and enjoying fruits. Then, cruising back to local market. From there you can buy some tropical fruits, have lunch and driving back to Sài Gòn. Overnight in Sài Gòn.

Today you will be picked up by your driver to Đà Lạt city. Đà Lạt is a special city also called "little Paris" that is unique to Vietnam because of the cooler climate and the diverse flora and fauna. On the way, we stop for lunch and visit the city's Flower Park - which is home almost flowers species of Đà Lạt, check – in hotel and feel free explore night market at your own programs. Overnight in Đà Lạt.

Spend this day to discover the romantic city of Đà Lạt, established on a plateau some 1,500 meters above sea level in 1912 and reminiscent of an alpine town with its French chalets and pine forests. In the morning, firstly take a visit to the Main Cathedral Church - the largest church of Đà Lạt was first built in 1917 by French, then take a 40-minute train ride, the train was used during the French domination and is now only used in Đà Lạt to Trại Mát Garden, enjoy the nice scenery of vegetable, flower, and fruit gardens along the route. Have a short-distance walk to Linh Phước Pagoda. In the afternoon visit former Summer Residence of Emperor Bảo Đại (the last emperor of Vietnam), Trúc Lâm Thiền Viện (Truc Lam Meditation Retreat) - This is the largest Zen Monastery in Vietnam built in a large Pine tree forest and on a side of Tuyền Lâm Lake. Lastly in day is visit XQ Historical Village know as Vietnamese traditional art of hand-made embroided painting then go back your hotel and relax. In free time evening, you can visit the night market or enjoy a cup of coffee by yourself. Overnight in Đà Lạt.

You leave the city and drive through mountains, past beautiful rice fields and deserted beaches along the southern coastline of Vietnam. A beautiful route where we overcome more than 1000 meters of altitude difference. In the afternoon we arrive in the luxury sea view hotel at Nha Trang Bay, where many Vietnamese people come to celebrate wonderful holidays. A friendly city with nice shops, restaurants and a few beach clubs. Overnight in Nha Trang.

Start your day trip with pickup from your hotel and enjoy a scenic drive along the south central coastline of Việt Nam toward Cầu Đá Port. Stop at the Vietnam Oceanography Institute and encounter more than 20,000 marine creatures, some exclusive to Nha Trang Bay.

Next, visit the Buddhist pagoda of Long Sơn, which was built in commemoration of the monks and nuns who died fighting the Diệm government. While there, spot the famous 68-foot (21-m) tall white concrete statue of Gautama Buddha in the distance.

Break for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before heading to the historic Stone Church, which was erected during the French colonial period. Marvel at its French-style architecture and hear the melodic rings of the 3 bells, a staple in Western churches.

Continue your tour at the sacred Hindu site of Po Nagar complex, which dates back to the seventh century. Pass by hidden wonders of the lost Cham civilization and view a stone statue that depicts the Yan Po Nagar goddess in the middle of the complex. Next  place is Bird’s Nest House to explore exploitation and processing of Bird’s Nest. Your last stop is the Đầm local market. Take time to stroll around looking for mementos before returning to your hotel. Overnight in Nha Trang.

Later this everning, you'll be transferred to the Nha Trang railway station in time for you’re a night train to Huế. Train Nha Trang to Huế on SE2 express train, departing 23:30, arriving 12:58 next afternoon (approx 14hrs).

Train drive through the Hải Vân Tunnel, the longest tunnel in Southeast Asia. The rest of the day is at leisure and you can enjoy the cozy terraces, recover from the train trip. Arrival Huế, check-in hotel and spend a day discover Vietnam’s old capital by your own. Overnight in Huế.

After breakfast, take a short walk along the Perfume river (Hương). Visit the Imperial Citadel - UNESCO World Heritage site, Flag Tower, Noon Gate, Nine Dynastic Ums, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace and the Forbidden Citadel built by the Nguyễn emperors in the early 19th century. Enjoin Vietnamese court music (Royal Music) - Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity if luckily.

Continue on cruise this afternoon, you will visit the Minh Mạng Royal tomb, Hòn Chén sanctuary and Thiên Mụ Pagoda - an iconic seven-story pagoda considered the unofficial symbol of the city. Lastly, cruise downstream to watch sunset on the Perfume River. If time permit, take a walk through Đông Ba Market, where you can find anything from fabric and gold to fake watches, fresh flowers and street food. Overnight in Huế.

Breakfast at hotel, then drive to Đà Nẵng via the spectacular Hải Vân Pass, visit the Chăm Museum, probably best museum in the world focusing on the ancient kingdom of Champa, the Marble Mountains of the five sacred elements (metal, wood, water, fire, soil) with numerous caves and Buddhist shrines and the Stone-carving village of Non Nước. Lunch at local restaurant on the way to the charming old town of Hội An, an exceptionally well-preserved example of a South-East Asian trading port during the 15th to 19th centuries. Many of the buildings in the town reflect historical architectural styles and the whole town is listed as an UNESCO World Heritage site. Check-in to the hotel, then enjoy a walking tour in the old town. Explore the three characters culture of Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese, visit "Phùng Hưng" house - 200 years old and the Japanese Covered Bridge -  "bridge for passers-by from afar". End the day with a visit the workshop of a traditional lantern maker, meet the artisans and try your skills as you create your own lantern to take home. Overnight in Hội An.

Travel Visa

Most countries in South East Asia require you to obtain a visa. Please check carefully with your travel specialist regarding specific visa requirements for each country you plan to visit as the legislation does change frequently. Thailand offers a free visa on arrival to most nationalities. Other countries including Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar offer a “visa-on-arrival” service which requires you to pay a fee at the airport, or you may prefer to obtain this in advance through the relevant embassy or a visa agent. For visa-on-arrival in Vietnam, you must submit some paperwork before you arrive.

This is an option to get your visa for Vietnam instead of getting visa at the Vietnam consulate in your country.

Step 2: Process your visa information into a visa application
We will contact you for reviewing your visa information and then submit your application on your behalf to Vietnam Immigration department and follow other procedures pursuant to the regulations of Immigration department to get Visa approval letter granted by Immigration department.

 

Step 3:Send the visa approval letter via email to you after 2 working days
After we obtain the visa approval letter from the Immigration department for you, we will forward you a scanned copy of it by email (Your visa information then have been recorded to the Visa system of the Vietnam Immigration department).

 

Step 4: Get your visa stamp on your arrival
Just print the approval letter out, prepare 2 passport sized photos and an amount of USD for stamping fee ($45 for single entry visa; $65 for 1 month multiple entry visa and $95 for 3 multiple entry visa). Put all above mentioned things along with your passport in a package, then show them to Immigration officer at Vietnam arrival airports.

Upon arrival at Vietnam’s airport, expect a simple form to fill in (or you can download here to fill beforehand), present the visa approval letter, passport, photos to the Immigration officer inside the counter and look for a place to hear your name be called to get the passport back and pay for the stamping fee. The actual process takes around 15 minutes without hassle or trouble.

 

What are the differences between this process and getting visa at Vietnam embassies?
It is only applicable for those who travel to Vietnam by air. You only need fill out the visa application form online instead of visiting the Vietnam embassies or sending documents to Embassies over by post.The online visa application does not require sending your passport away.You get a visa approval letter issued by Vietnam Immigration Department indicating that you are allowed to enter Vietnam and have your visa stamped upon arrival at one of Vietnam international airports.
